MINOCA myocardial infarction with normal coronary arteries

Often we find patients with ‘clean arteries’ and elevated troponins. This is explored with using MRI that proves infarction and optical coherence tomography that shows a ruptured plaque. Another faction of patients may have vasospasm. Another group may have microvascular disease with decreased coronary flow reserve.
